Indirect Economic Impacts

203-2 Significant indirect economic impacts Through investment programs, some of our partners are indeed our customers, and our relationships have been strengthened through working together. For example, Caritas – Hong Kong has worked with us in several programs since 2009. In 2019, we sponsored the 4th Prize of the 2019 Caritas – Hong Kong Charity Raffle Ticket Sale and supported the activity to raise funds for this NGO. Another example was supporting the Children’s Heart Foundation’s “Heart-to-Heart Charity Challenge”, in which over 170 volunteers joined the Sports Challenge with families and friends.

Regarding workforce engagement, we seek to cultivate a number of community-minded characteristics in our employees, including inspiring their families and friends to give back to society, nurturing a philanthropic heart and respecting different cultures. It was observed that our staff showed higher levels of job satisfaction and engagement. These changes were manifested by the winners of the Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) Community Award. In addition, it has been easier for our HR colleagues to recruit new talents as an organization with good CSR image.
